Even more reason now for Theo to get the thermals out . Former Gillingham, Watford and Millwall striker Darius Henderson has joined Eastleigh from Mansfield Town. Henderson, 35, goes straight into the squad for the Spitfires' National League match at home to Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday. Eastleigh have not disclosed the length of Henderson's contract but he moves to Hampshire on a free transfer.
Thermals remained safely in the drawer, Frenchie. I think it might take more than DH to get me to the Silverlake on a cold Tuesday night. Eastleigh have had a bad run of injuries lately with quite a few emergency short term contracts handed out in the last month. They do need another goal scorer probably, as the goals have dried up a bit lately. Having said that, is it accurate to describe Darius as a goal scorer? More a big lump with a temper who finds the net now and again perhaps?
Interesting to see that jermaine Pennant had gone to Bury.... 34 and the back end of his career... And there was a time when he was so much better than Watford... A football Career is really so short...
Leeds United midfielder Toumani Diagouraga is set to join Ipswich Town on loan until the end of the season.
Birmingham City playmaker Diego Fabbrini has joined Italian side Spezia Calcio on loan until the end of the season.
I've met Luke several times when he played for Watford, very popular with all, good son-in-law material!!
He's gone back to his first club St. Mirren. Hope he does well back home in Scotland. Such a shame about that nasty injury when he was with us, he was starting to look really promising.
Well a former loanee scored at Anfield to help cause a shock and now Luke O'Nien is helping Wycombe maybe create a bigger one at WHL!
Espanyol beating 10 man Seville 2-1 at half-time. Have seen a smiling shirt sleeved QSF and a player with the name Jurado on his back running around.....
