Would personally prefer us to try and offload Britos and Kaboul, and give Kabasele some game time.

Same in midfield... I think Doucoure has played himself into the team. As much as I like Guedioura, I don't think he is Prem standard - a very good Championship player, but would be fine seeing him go to free up a squad place.

Agreed about Guedioura, not quite good enough for pram. I'm a bit surprised how shaky Kaboul has been after the general view of the Sunderland supporters, they thought he was irreplaceable during the last few months there.

I agree re Kaboul. I think Britos is all right on the whole. Agree re Doucoure. How has Guediora sunk so quick? That concerns me. I thought he was a cracking player but his touch seems to have almost deserted him - why? Confidence? Training?

I think he tries too hard, needs to calm down a bit. Love the guy to bits and met him post-match at Brighton, but at present I don't think he warrants a starting place.

Sunderland were constantly under pressure and playing deep. Maybe that is why he looked better? Also were they not playing 4 at the back? Again in a 3 he may be better in the middle but Prodl has that nailed down right now.
I think he is expossed in the right of a 3 and with a team mainly wanting to play higher up the pitch. Much of the mistakes at the back unfortunatly involve him.

That's it. I think you can see the CB in him, finding himself often the closest to the byline a little unnerving.

Looking at the table, the players might want to lose Hull though... :)

In the passed it was always about getting the right player in at the right price but our next 6 games we need about 7 points or we will be dropping down the table because we will not get many points from our last 4 games

It does feel like they are waiting to see how many of the players will come back in the next couple of weeks before signing anyone. We have a full foreign quota (plus a few extra), so maybe this is why they have looked at a couple of home-grown to add numbers... and these do tend to take a bit longer, trying to negotiate.

Maybe the emergence of Doucoure in the first team, and Mason as cover for Holebas, has slightly altered their urgency for immediate players too. Ideally I would like to see a pacey CB come in (but I think we already have 6, so need to sell a couple first) and a DM - which would allow us to either rest Capoue, which I think he needs, but also allow him a bit more freedom to get forward.

Well Okaka, Janmaat and Success are all due back this week-end I believe - would seem pointless buying to replace them. There are moves afoot to buy a replacement for Pereyra and one other defender. All takes time I suppose.

Because the cover for the 1st team in some positions has been our kids i hoped that they would have got the additions in before this week end . If we dont start winning it just adds pressure
