A former player and former manager hardly covering themselves with glory, knocked out of the Spanish Cup by a second tier side. I don't remember a shot at goal by Jurado in a Watford shirt - this may explain why... http://www.flashscores.co.uk/match/viHqon10/#video
Marvin Sordell is moving back up the rankings - has changed from 'Gone for a Burton' to 'Gone to Burton' for the rest of the season...
Nigel Gibbs appointed as assistant coach at Swansea. I can't help but think we have missed a gem there...
Totally agree. Not just because of his long and splendid service to our club - you get the feeling he would be someone young players (to me that 'young' reference is all of them ) would want to work hard for.
http://www.itv.com/news/2017-01-06/ex-watford-midfielder-jenkins-close-to-mls-move/ The Forgotten Man surfaces again. Possibly off to Vancouver this time...
Mrs H-F informs me that one of our former players has gone to China.... she said Jenkins or Jenkinson.
jerzeypie sometimes gets Ian Henderson of Rochdale mixed up with Liam Henderson, so we looked LH up last night and he's at Morpeth Town. To put into context what level they are, they would need 2 promotions to be at the same level as Stourbridge.
As a striker, he was something of an abject failure at every club he signed for - until he went to Spennymoor, where he became almost Jenkins-esque by scoring 37 goals in a season. I never did understand why we held on to him for so long.
Hardly a surprise - bit of a flop there losing 9 out of 11 and getting into trouble off the pitch too. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38555220
Certainly both have been impressive this season it seems. Very different type of players! Its nice to see our former youth players making a career of it - bit like Luke O'Nien at Wycombe.
