Yeah, MVG deserved it, Anderson just couldn't get any big finishes and missed too many doubles and his head went for awhile.
To beat MVG you need massive scoring power and a 50%+ checkout on the doubles - sustained over a possible 13 sets. Only Anderson had a sniff of a chance. His record doesn't yet match Taylor, but his averages tell you that he is the best ever.
The Gills were 2nd in league 1 on January 1st 2016 - and won only 14 matches out of 53 played in the Calendar year, so not really a surprise.
How to scare the **** out of somebody: tell them that Charles Manson is now out of prison ...I'll leave it to the rest of you if you want to bring up the fact that he had to be rushed to hospital for emergency surgery
Reminding me of Tom Carroll, we haven't seen much of him lately. With a contract to 2019 will he be a late developer? ATM Harry Winks seems to have overshadowed him.
This is probably going to sound a bit funny from me, but I'll ask it anyway. Loads of managers are banging on about their players being tired and having load of games over this period. Loads of people are complaining about the poor decisions that the officials have been giving over this period. Is this a coincidence or do they actually have a connection? Footballers are professional athletes and are very well paid, yet they're still struggling to be 100% for so many games, apparently. Officials aren't as well paid, they're generally older and less fit. Are they knackered, too? Are they making mistakes because they can't keep up with the schedule?
