We'd better get down there and tick them off the list. There can't be many current fans who saw the previous clash!
Remember watching Newcastle at Trumpton Bath and commenting to a Geordie supporter that their G / K had been brilliant and the reply was yes we didn't think he had it in him
Looks like either DC decided to let him go back early so he can make arrangements for a new player to come in as soon as the window opens. Or Palace have recalled him due to them having a new manager. Maybe big Sam looked at how many games he has played and thought best to get him back as being wasted with us! Doesnt look like he decided to leave himself as he has stated he is sorry to leave!
Their is no guarantee DC will even play any of his new signings in January. IMO Boateng was the best CM we had.
Not surprised to read that just disappointed thought he was a quality player as people who saw him play said about Connor Roberts, 2 down who's next. Heard a rumour on Saturday that Harrison was going on loan to Newport and Sinclair was on his way out destination unknown and that Matty Taylor was going to Swansea
Well thats Swansea down for sure then. Suprised if Sinclair goes as is 1 of the most capped players this season. I think he aint good enough personally as I have stated before but I think DC wont let his 'mate' go.
WE didn't play him enough, hope he plays a blinder for them every time he is picked unless it's against us
Yes seen this on the other forum. And the person who said it also said that Boateng was about to leave and he was right. So who knows! But I will be very surprised if he goes as he is DC's mate and he has been a regular this season. Its not as if he is out in the cold like Gosling for example. Also, if he was going to leave, surely he could find a League 2 club. Too good for non league but I dont think he is good enough for top half of league 1.
Agreed with him being too good for non league but two main factors...his brother plays at FGR and they are very close and money. On a side note see that Jay Simpson (Leyton Orient) has put in a transfer request. Scored 25 goals last season in all competitions and at 28 years of age could be a decent signing if we were to be interested.
CJS is Gosling not playing because his loan period is not yet up, even though they sent him back early I believe his loan period extended into January and he is therefore not eligible to play at present. GassyAde If we could persuade Jay Simpson to join us I think we would have quality striker on board
GassyAde if Sinclair is going to FGR he will certainly be busy judging by todays result FGR 5- 5 Torquay Maybe they would like to sign McCrystal as well for a small fee and free up his wages
I could see Jay Simpson joining, if Taylor moves on. But I can't see Harrison or Sinclair leaving at this stage. I would have thought a few players not in contention for the first team would be moved on before either of them.
My prediction for the transfer window all loan signings to return to parent clubs or new loan clubs, the club to cash in on Matty Taylor a new G / K and rest staying the same instead of having a clear out and removing all the dead wood and bringing in 4 or 5 quality singings and pushing on
