Not surprised to see Bradley given the boot at Swansea. There is an element of satisfaction about this insofar that they should never have gotten rid of Gary Monk in the first place and should have displayed far more patience. It is also quite pleasing to see that the first American coach in the Premier League should prove to be so ineffectual. It is strange that Swansea should have taken a risk with a manager from a country which is hardly known for it's football abilities and maybe they wanted to make a bit of history. I think that they are probably rueing the decision now but wonder of the board will now try to line up a British manager. I appreciate that on the world stage British coaches are not at all highly rated yet it seems perverse that there are plenty of candidates in this country who would have been able to do a far better job than Bradley has done - even if you went down the leagues to find one. Swansea must be nailed on certainties for relegation.

I can remember when Swansea were held up as an example of a club we should copy. *

*some 'TV expert' when we were promoted.

Be careful where you cast your stones, Ian. Our last three managers were plucked from relative non British obscurity (even The lying Dutchman hadn't been a roaring success as a manager).

I hope Bob will be back. He can replace Pardew on the merry go round. Meanwhile, I'd appoint Hodgson (yes really), and if it's Giggs I hope they never win again.

Also, not the point, but do they actually use an IV drip to deliver vitamins directly to the blood!!? That's, uh, novel.

I am constantly surprised by what people will believe....eat a balanced diet. Has worked for millennia. All these people on extreme healthy life styles are going to be in for a shock when the grim reaper calls....yes, you are going to die as well, suckers.

Anyone got any Xmas spirit.....I seem to have run out.

I noticed that as well.....we don't go for the usual suspects...yet we get one good manager after enough. Perhaps Swansea saw that and thought you could just select a random and be successful.

I like to live my life to enjoy it, whilst keeper my half an eye open so as not to be stupidly unhealthy.

I do believe I have an advantage though. I like everything, so therefore believe I must have a "balanced diet" :)

I understand there is a crisis going on amongst the middle-aged [my group]. Apparently people are too fat [Ok, I know there's no 'apparent' about it]. Have sit-down jobs, in the main. Eat on the run or while working, and come home and have forgotten how to cook, but they've no time anyway, as they have to look after their elderly parents. So they grab an American style pizza or MacDonald's [guaranteed heart-attack food] or similar, and wonder why they are so flabby, tired and fed up. This isn't the life they wanted or expected.

BTW, Fran, where's that Christmas spirit gone.? I'm on my 4th day of it. ;)

Just shows how quickly things can turn sour, has happened time and time again when a small team does well over a few seasons. Gets lauded as the new forward thinking team, then people take an age to notice it going south, could very easily happen to us aswell. Swansea were 100% right to sack Monk, they should've stuck with Guidolin longer though.

Classy Portsmouth fans shout "you're going home in an ambulance" when Luton's Cameron McGeehan breaks his leg:
McGeehan was also shown a yellow card by the referee while on the stretcher after pounding the floor in pain or frustration.
